Transformative experiences in education, the arts, and community building
At the intersection of art, ecology, and education, my work fosters inclusivity, creativity, and critical self-awareness. Through hands-on, practical approaches, I engage diverse communities in meaningful dialogue, immersive collaboration, critical thinking, speculation, and action.
In each experience I strive to create learning environments where participants are encouraged to be curious, self-aware, and empathically collaborative. Whether working with youth, educators, or organizations, my goal is to build meaningful connections, foster personal and collective growth, and inspire action that resonates beyond the classroom or workshop.
Educational / Climate Action / Artistic Consulting
I offer tailored consulting services for educators, schools, and organizations looking to integrate more inclusive, creative, and ecologically mindful methodologies into their curriculum, practices, or programming. With a focus on creativity, climate action, equity, and transdisciplinary learning, I help design and advise on the creation and evolution of innovative programs and initiatives that challenge conventional thinking, making, and teaching and inspire bold new ways of engaging with the world.
Key areas of focus:
• Curriculum design, development, adaptation, and evolution
• Integrating climate education and ecology into learning spaces
• Advising on diversity and inclusion in educational and artistic contexts
Workshops & Team Building
My workshops blend creativity with radical vulnerability and humility, fostering environments where participants can explore personal and collective growth. I work with both youth and adults to build community, nurture leadership, and develop practical skills through immersive experiential learning. These workshops are ideal for schools, nonprofits, and teams seeking to deepen their connections and foster a more inclusive, thoughtful work culture.
Workshop themes include:
• Team building through arts and ecology
• Critical analysis of leadership and empowerment
• Diversity and inclusion with a focus on gender, sexuality, and decolonization
Youth Program Leadership
As a passionate educator, I design and lead programs that cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and empowered and ethical leadership in youth. I specialize in developing custom in-class, after-school programs, and summer initiatives that encourage students to engage with the land, explore their identities, and use art as a tool for social and environmental change.
These programs offer:
• Hands-on learning in arts and ecology
• Exploration of storytelling and performance in climate action
• Leadership skills through creative collaboration.
Readymade Workshops
Embodied Ecology: Movement as a Pathway to Sympoiesis
Dive into the intricate tapestry of entangled ecologies in this immersive workshop that blends environmental education with physical theatre and experimental choreography. Participants will engage in dynamic movement exercises inspired by the local Bow Valley flora and fauna in what Donna Haraway calls "sympoiesis" or "making-with". Through individual and collaborative choreography, we will embody the complex relationships between non-human ecologies, illustrating how even small actions resonate within the larger environment.
