Innovative Arts and Ecology Projects

As the co-founder and artistic director of Tooth n’ Fang, an international multidisciplinary arts collective, I’ve led a range of experimental projects that challenge boundaries and create new spaces for storytelling. From Canada to Costa Rica, our productions have brought together diverse artists, exploring the intersections of performance, ecology, and identity. One of our most recent initiatives, CLAW (Collaborative Learning in Art n’ Wildness), merges art and nature, engaging youth in hands-on projects that explore the local species and environment of Vancouver Island.

These projects are designed to push participants out of their comfort zones—encouraging them to tap into creativity while connecting with the land and their communities. My experience directing and producing large-scale international performances, such as A Chorus of Immortal Toxins at the Prague Quadrennial, demonstrates my ability to bring bold, collaborative visions to life.

Education as Action

Currently, as an educator at Pearson College UWC, I teach Theatre and Visual Art in the IB Diploma Program, alongside designing and leading The NEST in the Climate Action Leadership Diploma Program. These experiences have deepened my commitment to using education as a platform for meaningful change. I’ve worked with students from over 80 countries, navigating complex discussions around identity, belonging, and climate justice, and helping them build critical skills for an unpredictable future.

This global perspective is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I blend practical learning with a transdisciplinary approach, weaving together the arts, ecology, social justice, and youth leadership. My goal is to cultivate spaces where young people feel empowered to explore their potential, speak their truths, and lead with empathy.

Notable Achievements and Training

Some of the most transformative milestones in my career include winning the Oxford Saïd Climate Change Challenge and presenting my work at COP28 in Dubai. My curriculum, designed to engage students with climate action through empathy and arts-based methods, earned me international recognition and the opportunity to attend the Oxford Strategic Leadership Program and Oxford Climate Emergency Program. This moment has further reinforced my commitment to embedding ecological awareness in all my work and teachings.

Having trained in Canada, United Arab Emirates, USA, UK, India, and Germany, and collaborating with artists from diverse disciplines have profoundly shaped my artistic and educational practices. These experiences enable me to create learning environments that are at once inquisitive, hands-on, and deeply collaborative.

Why I Stand Out

What sets me apart is my ability to engage and empower others in the critical blending and entangling of disciplines and activate people of all backgrounds and ages. I am dedicated to creating spaces where individuals feel seen, valued, and inspired to meaningfully engage with themselves and  the world around them. My work connects the human and non-human, and is driven by a commitment to decolonization and truth-telling.

I bring passion, humour, vulnerability, and practical experience into every classroom and project. Whether I’m leading a team-building workshop for professionals, directing an artistic production, or consulting on educational curriculum, my approach is rooted in radical inclusivity, creative collaboration, and a deep respect for the land and its caretakers.

To date I’ve worked on over 50 collaborative projects, and my ability to connect, inspire, and motivate others remains at the heart of everything I do. Whether you’re looking for a creative consultant, an arts-based program for youth, or a leader in educational innovation, I offer a unique blend of expertise that transforms both individuals and communities.
