Lucas Olscamp (he/they) is a hybrid educator, collaborator, and pastoral care leader whose work purposefully transcends boundaries to connect people, inspire change, and foster deep human (and non-human) connections. Rooted in the intersections of arts, ecology, and storytelling, he believes in the transformative power of radical vulnerability, inclusivity, and immersive experiential learning

As an educator and artistic leader, Lucas has experience teaching climate action, theatre, and visual arts, and worked alongside Pearson College UWC to develop The NEST, an innovative curriculum focused on narrative, ecology, selfhood, and teaching as essential tools to foster empathy and action in the uniquely tailored Climate Action Leadership Diploma. In their classroom and workshops, Lucas blends performance, interdisciplinary arts, and environmental consciousness to create spaces where participants—whether youth or adults—feel seen, empowered, and more deeply connected to the world around them.

As the co-founder and artistic director of Tooth n’ Fang, an international arts collective based in Canada and Costa Rica, Lucas has traveled and lead interdisciplinary projects on four continents and subsequently developed his own pedagogical approach to outdoor collaboration and art making through the collective's youth programming, CLAW (Collaborative Learning in Art n' Wildness).
