Blender of Things; establishing a paradigm
As a director and dramaturge, I am interested in the blending of things—genre, form, content. Blending unlike mixing, takes a certain degree of severance and destruction in order to fuse the elements—a process which inevitably creates a mess. I direct work that lives in that mess; work that is difficult to place—existing in multiple realms at once: theatre, opera, dance, film, visual arts, performance art, etc.
As of 2024, I have worked on over fifty productions and am eager to meet, connect, and collaborate with artists from all mediums and disciplines and continuously explore and experiment with hybridity, fluidity, chaos, and deconstruction.
